In our Club Penguin Flashback series, we flashback to a moment in Club Penguin's past. Today's flashback is 2012 New Year's Day.

 New Year's Day 2012 was a lengthy event lasting from December 29, 2011 - January 5, 2012. New Year's Day is an annual event where Club Penguin celebrates a new year to come. The event took place in several rooms including the Snow Forts, Iceberg, and the Ski Hill. There weren't necessarily any decorations; there were only fireworks. There were no items to collect and you couldn't meet any mascots.

In our Club Penguin Flashback series, we flashback to a moment in Club Penguin's past. Today's flashback is the 2006 Summer Party.

The Summer Party was was a lengthy party that lasted a little over a week; June 16 - 26, 2006. It lasted all throughout Club Penguin. Summer was kicked off with a little partying! During the party, you could collect the following items: the Yellow Duck, Water Wings, Blue Lei, and the Whistle (some of those items are now extremely rare!) Also, when the party began, the beach opened up for the first time ever!

Club Penguin Flashback: Day 8

In our Club Penguin Flashback series, we flashback to a moment in Club Penguin's past. Today's flashback is the 2010 Stadium Games.

The Stadium games was a very long event lasting from September 24 - December 20, 2010; the longest event in Club Penguin history! This event was meant to celebrate Team Yellow's first appearance on the island and The release of Club Penguin Game Day for Nintendo Wii. There were three games to play total, and each penguin could collect a golden, silver or bronze metal for completing all of the games.

Club Penguin Flashback Day 7

In our Club Penguin Flashback series, we flashback to a moment in Club Penguin's past. Today's flashback is the 2006 Pizza Parlor Opening.

The Pizza Parlor Opening lasted from Feb. 24 - 27. The celebration took place in two rooms: The Plaza, and The Pizza Parlor (of course). The Pizza Parlor was introduced into Club Penguin and it has changed its look several times over the years. During the party you could collect the Pizza Apron and the Chef Hat.

Club Penguin Flashback: Day 6

In our Club Penguin Flashback series, we flashback to a moment in Club Penguin's past. Today's flashback is the 2011 Wilderness Expedition.

The Wilderness Expedition lasted from January 17 - January 31, 2011.  The party took place in eight rooms: The Dock,  Cove, Glade, Wilderness, Bay, Cliff, Shore, and the Brown Puffle Cave. It introduced the Brown Puffle into Club Penguin making it Club Penguin's tenth puffle to be discovered on the island. Everyone could collect the Expedition Hat and only members could obtain the Brown Puffle House and the Brown Puffle.

Club Penguin Flashback: Day 2

Hey penguins! If you guys still haven't figured out by now, this is a daily post we make flashing back on a random moment in Club Penguin history. Let's take a look at Day 2 of our flashback series, shall we? Day 2's flashback is... The 2006 Winter Luau! 

The Winter Luau was a short party that only lasted from Jan. 27 - Jan. 30. It was also a very small party taking place in three rooms - the Dock, the Snow Forts, and the Dance Club. It was Club Penguin's first party to have a dedicated music for it. During the party, you could collect the Hawaiian Lei which is now
one of the most desired items in Club Penguin.

Hey penguins. While I was browsing through the Club Penguin Blog today, I noticed there was  a new post made by Polo Field. In his post, he exlplains that he will be holding an April Fool mini-party today! Check out what he said-

The Hollywood Party’s about to wrap! Thanks to all the Superstars and Directors— you made this party one to remember! Last week we wanted to know which movie stage was your favorite. Pup2602 picked High-Speed Getaway, saying:
 
High Speed Getaway is my favorite. I like the car you drive. The helicopter you fly is awesome. The fire shooting in the air as you fly is cool. But my favorite part is jumping out of the house. It's super cool and the window gets a penguin shape in it when you jump. And the house looks super cool. Plus, if you get some penguins to play there, you can do the real movie!

Club Penguin Updates Tonight

Tonight, Club Penguin is having their normal weekly updates. Every Wednesday night, into the early hours of Thursday morning, Club Penguin adds these new features. For tonight, the expected updates are:

• Club Penguin Times Issue #382
• Hollywood Party launches
• Gary, Sensei, Aunt Arctic ,and Gary return to the island for a visit

These are all the changes to occur, but more may come that we may not know about. No new pin is being released, so you have plenty of time to find the current one. Last but not least, the Hollywood Party will be launching tonight. I really think this party will be one of the best yet, and I know I will love it. I hope you enjoy it too!
