Two New Club Penguin Pins This Week (Updated)

UPDATE: It turns out Club Penguin made a mistake when tweeting this! What they meant to say was, that in addition to a new pin this week, the Dino Footprint will stick around for another week.

[tweet https://twitter.com/clubpenguin/status/293839169636147200]

Hello penguins! Today, while I was browsing Twitter, I noticed Club Penguin tweeted an interesting piece of information. Every two weeks, a new collectible pin is hidden on the island. However, this week there will be two pins hidden. That's a month of pins narrowed down to two weeks! Take a look at the tweet -

What do you think of this? Are you excited you will have two new pins to collect this week? Comment and let us know!

Club Penguin Blog: Featured Igloos January 20th

While I was checking out the Club Penguin blog today, I noticed Club Penguin moderator, Chattabox, made a post on the blog. It is a brand new set of featured igloos for today. All the igloos look really awesome! Check it out-

Hey there penguin pals!

The Prehistoric Party is well under way and I have to say I was SO impressed with this month’s igloo nominations! There were so many awesome Prehistoric themed igloos to choose from, I somehow finally managed to pick three of my favourites- it wasn’t easy! Check them out below:

Reuben7862 said: “You should check out my friend, Guitar Man 9’s iggy. His iggy is a tiki’s hut built on an island filled with lava pools and native animals.”

Liberty1111 said: “I think you should really check out Troyella’s Tiki Playground igloo. It is so cool and really creative! Tiki penguins should really check it out. Waddle On!”

Hippykid24 said: “Awesome igloos! I was looking for something to do when I found Peace6179’s igloo. It looks REALLY good and is perfect for the prehistoric party theme.”

Talk about going back in time! Those igloos were truly dino-rific! Now for something a little different, we’d love to see some Theme Park inspired igloos! So get your roller coaster rolling and your popcorn popping for a chance to have your igloo appear on our next featured igloos blog. If you know a friend that has a fun-tastic Theme Park igloo, be sure to let us know their penguin name in the comments below.

Until then- Waddle On! laugh
-Club Penguin Team

Those are some neat igloos! I like Peace6179's igloo the best because it really has a strong prehistoric feel to it, like Chattabox said. What do you think about these three featured igloos? Leave a comment and tell us your thoughts.

Club Penguin Prehistoric Party 2013: Dinosaur Dig Tip

Striving to make an addition to your collection of Dinosaur eggs? Club Penguin Guide has developed a method to collecting eggs every digging session. A tutorial on this method is found below:

  1. Waddle over to a digging station on the Prehistoric island to begin.

  2. You will be prompted with "Would you like to play Dino Dig?".

  3. To start, dig horizontally across the first row.

  4. Every turn when you dig vertically skip one past the previous row.

  5. When you are digging horizontally skip one past the previous row.

If you are confused a diagram of this method is shown below:

Using this method you'll complete your Dinosaur egg collection in no time! Club Penguin Guide loves to hear our reader's input, comment below!

Free Club Penguin Memberships for Prehistoric Party

Now that the Prehistoric Party is in progress, free seven day membership codes are being given out to certain users this week! A penguin named Troy7826 received a message from Club Penguin for a free 7 day membership code that looked like this below:

With the free seven day membership codes being given out last year for the Adventure Party: Temple of Fruit and the Holiday Party to everyone, for this party only certain users can have a free seven day membership code. If your parent has a parental account for Club Penguin, then you should check and see if you received a code because you might be one of the certain users who received a code! Good luck!

Club Penguin Prehistoric Party 2013: Dinosaur Transformation Glitch

Today while I was on Club Penguin, I noticed a new glitch that we can all do when transforming into dinosaurs. It is really fun to do! All you need is an action item, like a tour guide hat or a hard hat. Below are steps how to do the glitch.

Step 1: Get an action item of your choice and do its special action

Action

Step 2: Go to the egg icon in the top right corner and choose an egg of your choice. Transform into a dinosaur.

Action 2

Step 3: When your penguin looks similar to the photo above, click the "Transform back into a penguin!" on your player card.

Action 3

Finally, your outcome will be something like this -

Action 4

Remember, that is only for the tour guide action. It will look different if you use other actions. Another cool thing about this glitch is that you can use several different actions to look even sillier. You must repeat the process above with a different action move of your choice.

Here is an example-

Wow

I hope you found this guide helpful! Leave a comment and let us know what you think of this crazy glitch!

Club Penguin Blog Reviewed By You: Prehistoric Party!

Club Penguin Author, Polo Field, posted on the Club Penguin blog in review of the Club Penguin Prehistoric Party 2013 so far.  Here's what Polo Field said:

"Hey Penguins!

The Prehistoric Party is ON! Have you stomped through Prehistoric Club Penguin yet?

Last week, we were wondering which time you’d travel back to if you could take the Time Trekker anywhere. Check out94beaker64’s answer:

I would probably go back in time to see what my parents were like when they were my age! Or maybe my grandparents! Way back in the olden times! Hee hee! I think that would be cool!

That would be cool! Thanks to everyone for your fun and creative answers.

So now that the party's up, what's your favorite part? Hunting for dino eggs? The room art? Special dino moves? Leave a comment below to tell us what you're digging most! We’ll pick a comment to feature in our next Reviewed By You. And don’t forget, the featured penguin gets 10,000 coins! Dino-mite!!

Waddle On!

I love 94beaker64's answer, it would be so intriguing and interesting to create a comparison of when our parents' were children to now. Our intelligence has gone through a great evolution! Club Penguin Guide loves to hear our reader's input, comment below!

Club Penguin EPF message From Gary

Today Club Penguin released a new EPF message from Gary. Check it out-

Part

If you can't read the message, it says "Anyone feel like creating a temporal singularity and traveling back in time with me? There are lots of dinosaurs there!"

Like any message Gary makes, it can be a bit confusing. I think he is asking us to go back in time and help us study dinosaurs with him. What do you think of this weeks EPF message? Leave a comment and tell us your thoughts.
