Club Penguin Updates Tonight: September 5th, 2013

Tonight, Club Penguin is updating once again. Every Wednesday night into the early morning hours of Thursday, Club Penguin rolls out new features. These can include a new pin, a party, a new catalog, etc. There is always a new newspaper with each weekly update. The expected updates for now are

• Teen Beach Movie Summer Jam ends
• New pin
• Club Penguin Times Issue #411
• New EPF message
• New Penguin Style

The Teen Beach Summer Jam sure was an epic party - wasn't it? Of course, all great things must come to an end. On the bright side, we can look forward to a new pin, Club Penguin Times, a new EPF message, and a fresh new Penguin Style!

All of these updates will be posted and further reviewed tomorrow.

Club Penguin Blog: Igloos Coming to My Penguin on iPad

What's up everyone? Spike Hike recently updated the Club Penguin Blog with some exciting news involving the iPad app, My Penguin! Check it out

Hey Penguins!

Last week we revealed the epic news that My Penguin 1.2 is coming to iPad, with all-new 3D penguin avatars! Of course, penguins need a place to hang out... and what better place to hang out than your iggy? That's right, igloos are coming to the next version of My Penguin!! 

Here's how it works: when you log into My Penguin on iPad, you'll see your igloo as it appears on clubpenguin.com. Re-decorating your igloo in My Penguin is super-fast, too -- thanks to an all-new touch interface that takes full advantage of the iPad! When you save your iggy design, it will appear on clubpenguin.com as well. Pretty cool, eh?

 

Just like on clubpenguin.com, you can invite your friends to check out your igloo or visit theirs. My Penguin has a brand new interface that lets you see a preview of igloos for easy browsing. It will make it so much faster to find igloo parties!

For those interested in our technology, My Penguin uses entirely new tech that will be the future foundation of Club Penguin. Servers will work a little differently. Instead of logging into a server, we will take you directly to the igloo you want to go to. If the iggy gets full, we will spin up another version of that igloo so that more people can join. This will be really handy for the most popular iggys. Now if we only had a jump feature... :-)

Awesome idea! I think Club Penguin is working super hard on the My Penguin app and it's starting to become amazing! It sounds like My Penguin 1.2 will be a big update with 3D sprites coming along, Jetpack Boost launching, and igloos! I can't wait for My Penguin 1.2, can you? Comment below to let me know!

Club Penguin Blog: New Game Coming to My Penguin on iPad!

What's up everyone? Today I was browsing around the Club Penguin Blog and I noticed a new post was added by Polo Field. In his post, he announces an upcoming mini-game in My Penguin called "Jetpack Boost." This is pretty interesting, you gotta check it out-

I am super stoked to tell you that there will be a brand new mini game coming only to the My Penguin app!

Remember when Spike Hike said there will be a classic game "re-fueled"? 

Get ready for Jetpack Boost, a sequel to the Club Penguin classic game Jetpack Adventure! Here's a screenshot:

This game is awesome! I've barely been able to put down my iPad long enough to write this post.

Club Penguin EXCLUSIVE: Upcoming Teen Beach Movie Summer Jam Login Page

Hey guys! Recently on a website involving upcoming events about Disney, an unreleased homepage for the Teen Beach Movie Summer Jam was leaked. I'm guessing this homepage will go public on clubpenguin.com this Thursday, but I could be wrong. Check it out-

From what's known, Cadence, McKenzie, and Brady will be making a mascot appearance at the party, and the party will last from August 22 - September 3. I'm not too sure if the Penguin Band will come and see us at the party. My guess is they will because they haven't visited the island in a year!

Club Penguin Star Wars Takeover Mascot news

Hey there, everyone! As a lot of us thought, Herbert, Sensei, and Cadence would be making a mascot appearance at the Star Wars Takeover. To make sure this was true, one of my friends on Twitter emailed Club Penguin asking what mascots will visit us during the party. Here is Club Penguin's response-

The image above says:

"Darth Herbert will be visiting the Star Wars Takeover Party. It will be really neat to see Herbert in this role! Canece and Sensei will be a part of the storyline for the party, but not actually visiting. It would be cool to meet Jet Pack Guy! What do you think he's like?"

Well, there you have it. Only Herbert will be visiting the Star Wars Takeover party - what a bummer! I love seeing multiple mascots at parties, and I'm sure you do too! What do you think about this suprising news? Comment and let me know!

Club Penguin Star Wars Takeover Preperations

Last week you all remember seeing a weird moon-like object in the sky, and you may remember seeing some weird construction at the Dock. Well today, I noticed more construction progress was made at the Dock, and the Death Star moved even closer to the island! Check it out!

From what it looks like, the Dock will be the base of the Jedi (If that's wrong, please don't correct me, I'm not an expert in Star Wars :P). The Death Star is only moving closer to the island because the Star Wars Takeover is starting next week. I can't wait for the upcoming Star Wars Takeover, can you? It's only a week away, so we won't have to wait that long!

Club Penguin: Back to School! - Club Penguin University Opens

Hey there everyone! We have been waiting for this moment, and it has finally come! The Club Penguin University has opened! In fact, the whole Mine area got a new look. Check it out-

First up, the Mine on the map got a new design! It looks fabulous! - don't you agree?




Club Penguin did such a good job taking the time and effort to design the new Mine! Check it! You may notice a pathway to the Dojo in the background. If you waddle in that direction, you will be taken to the Dojo! This is the first available walking path to the Dojo in the history of Club Penguin!



The inside of the Club Penguin University looks amazing. After a long day of working hard in class, you can chow down in the cafeteria. We came in from the right door. Let's see what's behind the left...



... the Soccer Pitch! In my opinion, this was a brilliant move made by Club Penguin because tons of penguins hang around in the Soccer Pitch. Easy access! Nice!





Ok, I admit it, I thought the Club Penguin University would turn out horrible. Well, I was wrong! Club Penguin did a spectacular job! Many penguins were disappointed when they heard the Recycling Plant would be replaced with the Club Penguin University - I'm wasn't! The Recycling Plant was a very boring room to visit. Club Penguin Star Wars Takeover Unreleased Items

What's up penguins? As you all know, the Star Wars Takeover will commence in July. Since the party is near, I decided to explore Club Penguin's swf files and see if I could find any unreleased items. Like I thought, I did! I found new items and backgrounds! Take a look-

That's awesome! Just seeing these items make me even more excited for the Star Wars Takeover. The two backgrounds are two different scenes from Star Wars. The third item shown is Bubba Fett's space gear while the bottom item looks like Han Solo's hair style! What do you think of these unreleased items?

Club Penguin Star Wars Party Confirmed

There has been a lot of talk going on lately discussing whether there will be a Star Wars Party or not  (this summer). Today, it has been officially been confirmed there will be a Star Wars Party by Club Penguin CEO, Spike Hike. Moments ago he tweeted this -

 "May The Force Be With You" is a line from Star Wars (for all those who didn't know). That just gives away there will be a Star Wars Party! The party will most likely take place in July because the only parties we know of are the Monsters University Takeover, and now the Star Wars Party!

Club Penguin: New EPF Log on Screen

Hey penguins. Today I noticed a brand new log on screen involving the EPF was released. The screen is informing us about a new mission that we can complete, (Apr. 5- Apr.16) a new spy phone, and some new epic gadgets to use!

I'm glad to see there will be a new re-designed spy phone because the old one was really getting outdated. Along with that we are going to get some new elite gear! I hope we can get something epic like a grappling hook! I wonder what the new mission we can complete will be like...  will it involve Herbert? Who knows? Club Penguin Hollywood Party New Log-Off Screen

Today Club Penguin has released a brand new log-off screen promoting the upcoming Hollywood Party. The new log-off screen shows that members can become a superstar and be famous! Along with that, it shows when the party will start; February 14th - February 26th. Take a look-



I love the design to this log-off screen! It really catches your eye. One thing I noticed was that the penguin in the middle is holding something that looks similar to a penguin play award. Maybe we will be nominated an award for being  good actors? Or maybe we will have to complete a certain task to get one. What do you think about this new log-off screen?
