Club Penguin: Proof Herbert Won't Be Visiting Until August 1st

Hey there penguins! A lot of you have been hearing rumors that Herbert won't be visiting the island until August 1st. To make sure this was true, I emailed Club Penguin asking them. Here was their response-

The email says:

"I have heard some rumors that Darth Herbert is busy scheming on the Death Star; therefore, probably won't be making his way around the party until the second week of the takeover.  This gives Jedi and EPF agents all around the island a chance to prepare and work together, as we have no idea what Darth Herbert will be up to this time!"

Club Penguin Star Wars Takeover Mascot news

Hey there, everyone! As a lot of us thought, Herbert, Sensei, and Cadence would be making a mascot appearance at the Star Wars Takeover. To make sure this was true, one of my friends on Twitter emailed Club Penguin asking what mascots will visit us during the party. Here is Club Penguin's response-

Club Penguin Star Wars Takeover Preperations

Last week you all remember seeing a weird moon-like object in the sky, and you may remember seeing some weird construction at the Dock. Well today, I noticed more construction progress was made at the Dock, and the Death Star moved even closer to the island! Check it out!

Hey there, everyone. My friend Trainman1405 recently recorded, uploaded, and tweeted two exclusive pictures involving the upcoming Star Wars Takeover from the new "Game On!" commercial. These are pretty exciting to see, take a peek at them!

The first image looks like the base of the Jedi - it looks sweet! I can see a few clone troopers waddling around too... The second image is inside the Death Star. It looks like we can hack into the secret plans of the Death Star! - that's something to look forward to! Onto the video:

Disney's Game On: Club Penguin Star Wars Takeover Costumes

A friend on Twitter, @Lenny_Thai recently recorded and took pictures of an advertisement for the Star Wars Takeover. These sneak peaks are from Disney's show, Game On. Game On is a show where they review a game or upcoming event to a game, and share it with us during a commercial break. Recently they talked about the Star Wars Takeover coming to Club Penguin. They even showed costumes to wear at the party, such as the C-3PO costume, Chewbacca costume, and Darth Vader costume. Check out two awesome pictures by Lenny Thai:

The items shown in the picture are the, Chewbacca Mask, Chewbacca Costume, C-3PO Mask, and C-3PO Costume. At the bottom right of the image, it reads "Costumes Require Paid Membership". This means you must be a member to get these items. Onto the next image:

The items shown in the picture are most likely the Darth Vader Costume, and Darth Vader Helmet. Again, the text at the bottom right reads "Costumes Require Paid Membership". That's all of the pictures!

Once again, thank you Lenny Thai for these images. These three costumes look a lot like they characters are in the movies. I'm very excited for whats to come at the upcoming Star Wars Takeover.

Wow, that Boba Fett costume looks pretty cool. One thing however, the new My Penguin app update is already out! If you have the My Penguin application installed and a membership, you are able to log on to your account and receive the Boba Fett costume. You can do this by clicking the catalog at the bottom of your inventory in the app, and then flip through the pages to the exclusives. Now, onto the new Slider Image.

On the Club Penguin Homepage, you're able to browse through 4 images on the slider. The new image is about the Boba Fett costume on the My Penguin application. If you click the image, it will bring you to the App Store where you can download My Penguin. The image has been provided below for you to see:

Star Wars Takeover Construction at Dock

While I was walking my puffle and friend, Picasso, we noticed some construction going on at the Dock. The construction going on is for the Star Wars Takeover, an upcoming event to the island. We were blocked from getting a close up view because of the construction workers. But you are able to see a crate, a satellite dish, a shovel, and a small little building with some boxes inside. I snapped a picture for you to see. Check it out:

Hmm.. what could they be building? Maybe an outpost for the Jedi? Maybe a communication tower? Or could it be a pit stop to fuel up? I'm going to do some more looking around and I'll get back to you on it as soon as possible.
