Club Penguin My Penguin: Update 1.1

The My Penguin application was recently upgraded to version 1.1. Upgrades include Card-Jitsu Snow, more levels in Puffle Rescue, 5 more legendary levels in Pufflescape and a ninja themed icon. It's pretty awesome that you can play Card-Jitsu Snow anywhere with Wifi! Check out it's page on  the appstore-

Cool, huh? If it is unclear, What's New in Version 1.1 says:

"BATTLE IN THE ALL NEW Card-Jitsu Snow multiplayer ninja game – level up & defeat evil snowmen. SAVE MORE PUFFLES, avoid shockingly dangerous creatures, and discover the secret area in Puffle Rescue World 3. EXPLORE LEGENDARY LEVELS - 5 more! Plus, earn the giant O'berry in the Pufflescape game."

Club Penguin Blog: Snow is coming... to iPad

Today, Spike Hike made an exciting blog post to the Club Penguin blog. This is regarding the 1.1 update to the iPad My Penguin app. The 1.1 update coming Thursday will include various bug fixes, and now we know that the final levels of Pufflescape and Puffle Rescue will be added. We also know that Card-Jitsu Snow is coming as well. Take a look!

It's been a massive month for Club Penguin. We released My Penguin on the iPad which over the weekend reached over 1 million downloads!! Thanks for making this such a success!! We also launched the long-awaited Card-Jitsu Snow and its been awesome to see so many of you having fun with it!! The game has been played over 40 million times already and we can see lots of Snow Ninjas walking around the island. 

The Card-Jitsu Snow surprises aren't done yet... this Thursday, June 6th, we will have an all-new update to My Penguin that will include the entire Card-Jitsu Snow game. You can use My Penguin to join other Penguins in the game online! Pretty cool, huh?

But that's not all – we will also release the remaining levels of Pufflescape and Puffle Rescue!

So much awesome stuff is happening in Club Penguin right now…and much more to come in this SUMMER OF AWESOME!!!

This will definitely be an awesome summer for Club Penguin.. three entirely new parties! Are you excited for Club Penguin's future events?

Last week we asked, what would your ultimate spy gadget be?

Awesomeguy27's answer was...well...awesome!

What I think would be the ultimate spy gadget would contain everything our current one has, and some other things. First, it would have an extended notification system. For example, if a penguin needed help, it would show up on the screen. We could teleport to that penguin immediately and help them. Second an emergency first aid kit to help me as well as other penguins in case of an injury. Finally, a fully stocked fridge. Come on, some people get hungry on important missions! ;)

A fully stocked fridge would be epic! We all know that food is the greatest fuel for a top agent.

Club Penguin EPF Message from Jet Pack Guy

Today, Jet Pack Guy has sent all Elite Penguin Force agents a new message to their Spy Phone's. This is, of course, related to Card-Jitsu Snow. Take a look at what he had to say.

He's telling us that there is a strong storm, high into the sky, with heavy snow and large gusts of wind. This is because of Card-Jitsu Snow launching, the storm has called all ninjas to battle.

Club Penguin Polo and Daffo's Card-Jitsu Snow Quest - Episode #4 (FINALE)

Today, a new video has been added to Club Penguin's YouTube channel. It is the fourth and final episode in Daffodaily5 and Polo Field's Card-Jitsu Snow Quest series. In this episode, you can see the entirely new Dojo, it's extremely different. Take a look!

This is probably the most revealing of the four videos. As I stated in an earlier post, the Ninja Hideout is going away and all of the other dojos will be accessible via the Dojo itself. I also noticed that there is no Sensei mat in the Snow Dojo, the bridge takes you right to the game. This leads me to believe there may be new Fire and Water Dojos with the same bridge concept. Club Penguin New Dojo Sneak Peek

Today, Ninja has tweeted out a picture showing the upcoming Dojo renovations. Yes, Ninja now has a Twitter - it is @NinjaChat3. Go ahead and follow it. This tweet shows Sensei in front of the Dojo, talking about Card-Jitsu. Take a look!

There are some pretty big changes coming to the Dojo! It looks all new. It is worth pointing out that there is no Ninja Hideout in this picture. That's because the Ninja Hideout is actually closing - all of the Card-Jitsu games will be accessible through the Dojo starting next week. Polo Field confirmed this at Field Friday.

I love the new log in screen! It shows a fighting scene in the new upcoming game - Card-Jitsu Snow. It also animates snow falling. How sweet is that?  This log in screen makes me even more excited for Card-Jitsu Snow's release! Hey everyone! Today, Polo Field made an exciting new post to the Club Penguin blog. This is regarding a few Card-Jitsu updates, and Card-Jitsu Snow. Let's see what he said.

Hope you’re ready for some EPIC news. For the first time ever… Card-Jitsu Fire and Card-Jitsu Water will be open to everyone.

That’s right... Starting this week, ALL players will be able to become Fire and Water Ninjas!

Get training, ninjas, because big things are coming. And you must be ready.

If you are not a member, starting Thursday you can become a fire and water ninja! This is likely temporary, to be sure to take advantage of the opportunity  There is also a very interesting photo, it looks like a blizzard is coming! This likely will kick off Card-Jitsu Snow.

Get a Club Penguin Card-Jitsu Snow Beta Hat!

Today, our friend Trainman1405 reported that he found a Card-Jitsu Snow beta hat in Club Penguin's swf files. Quite skeptical myself, I took a look. Sure enough, I discovered the hat! All players who test Card-Jitsu Snow have a chance at this hat.

Along with that, Club Penguin even tweeted that the hat is available!

Club Penguin Blog: Card-Jitsu Snow Beta Testing Update

Hey penguins. While I was checking the Club Penguin Blog today for any recent news, I noticed Polo Field made a new post. The post gives us some updates about beta testing for Card-Jitsu Snow. Check out his post to see what he had to say-

Hey penguins,

It's been a busy week here at Club Penguin, and we wanted to give you an update on the big Card-Jitsu Snow Beta Test!

We've received thousands of comments since the beta test launched last week. Thanks for sending in your comments and the bugs you've seen - keep it up!

Did you know that we track every bug we find? Bug tracking and bug squashing is a very important part of making a game! See the picture below? The red line is the number of bugs we wrote up for tracking, and the green line is the number of bugs we've squashed! Pretty cool, huh?

Here are a few of the bigger bugs that you've let us know about:

#1094 - Users seeing only background art in game if Snow player exits before loading screen
#1090 - Users are able to enter Bonus Round even if player is KO'd during game
#1042 - Music will occasionally double up in game - multiple tracks will play at once
#993 - Game occasionally "freezes" while playing - users must exit game

Great work, testers! Thanks for helping to make Club Penguin even better.

In other news... Many of you seem to be using older versions of web browsers like Internet Explorer. Make sure you have the latest version of your favorite web browser and the Adobe Flash Player installed on your computer to test Card-Jitsu Snow. And remember to ask for permission from your parent before you install anything!
