Club Penguin Blog: Reviewed by You: Back to School!

Hey penguins! Polo Field recently published this week's "Reviewed by You" post on the Club Penguin Blog. The topic for this week is "Back to School!" Read his new post to find out more

 Hello Penguins!

Last Reviewed by You we wanted to know your thoughts on the month of August.
I really liked 08sunlight's  answer:
I enjoyed the Teen Beach Movie Summer Jam Party the most because of how much it reminded me of the Water Party in 2007. The Water Slides were my favorite, I went down them a few times with penguin friends. Puffle Digging some food for my Puffle saved me lots of coins, plus the food is very different from what you can buy in the Puffle Catalog. This month's clothing were fantastic! Great summer styles to wear when you waddle out to the cove to meet your friends.
Well done,  08sunlight,  that's awesome!
For this week's Reviewed by You, we'd like to know... for those of you going back to school, what do you look forward to most and why? Even if you aren't heading back to school this month, we still want your input!
We'll pick one comment to feature in next week's Reviewed by You. If your review is featured next week, we'll add 10,000 coins to your account. Don't forget to use your penguin name so we can add the coins!
Until then... Waddle On!

This week's question is.... what do you look forward to most and why? (for those going back to school.) What I'll look forward to most is seeing my friends from last year! I really hate doing the work part (like everyone else does), but hey, you gotta learn! Comment below and tell me this - what do you look forward to most when going back to school?

Club Penguin Blog: August Party Announcement

The Club Penguin Blog has just been updated with a new post about the August party. It hints on what to expect at the party, including surfing, swimming, beaches, and music. This is a message from Polo Field:

Hello Penguins!
Many of you have asked what party is coming to Club Penguin in August. We’ve also seen lots of suggestions...
“Make a Summer Party!”
“Bring back the Water Party!”
“Why not Music Jam?”
So we thought, why not make a party with ALL of those great ingredients? A classic Club Penguin party with surfing, swimming, beaches, and of course... Music! Here’s a taste of what we’ve been working on:
Stay tuned! We’ll be posting a special video announcement about the party next week on the blog.
Until then... Waddle On!
-Club Penguin Team
Thanks Polo Field!

That party seems awesome from the description. The sneak peek picture from the video has been provided below:

The room is the Beach, and the lighthouse looks as if it's been transformed into a gas station. There's a highway on top of the sandy shore, and to the top right there seems to be a sign telling an upcoming location. The room definitely is a super cool hangout spot.

Keep in mind, Polo Field wrote that this is a "classic Club Penguin party" which means it's not influenced by a show or movie. Many thought that it was a Teen Beach Movie Takeover, but this sneak peek video has clarified that assumption is incorrect. I'm definitely excited for the upcoming party in August.

What do you think of Polo Field's post? Are you excited for the party in August? Leave us a comment to share what you think.

Club Penguin Polo Field Noteworthy Tweets

Hey there everyone! Last night I noticed Polo Field was on Twitter, so I decided to check out his tweets to see if I could spot anything noteworthy. Most certainly, I did! Check it out-

In this tweet, Polo Field hints the possible return of the Blue Lei, and the possibility of Teen Beach Party Takeover being real (you can find a lei on a beach, or some place warm).
In this tweet, Polo Field also gives off a hint about the Teen Beach Party Takeover being real. In the Teen Beach Party movie, the word ''next'' is over used. In Polo's tweet, he also over uses ''next!'' (Thanks for pointing that out, Trainman1405)

None of these tweets may mean anything; though these tweets do have potential to mean something. Might as well point them out, right? Do you think these tweets Polo Field made mean anything? Comment below and tell me your thoughts!

Hey there penguins! Polo Field (or should I say Han Polo) updated the Club Penguin Blog with this week's "Reviewed by You" post. This week's topic - the Star Wars Takeover. Check it!

I really liked Adri6363's answer:
My favorite party of all time was when Club Penguin had the Hollywood Party. It was totally fun! I played every single day it was on and it actually kinda made me feel like a superstar. I wish sometimes that it can come back. Also it was fun to get awards and get your own 15 minutes of fame! Riding limos to living in fancy penthouses, I think it was to best party ever!! Waddle On!!
Alright Star Wars fans, give it to me straight...what are you most looking forward to at the upcoming party?

We'll pick one comment to feature in next week's Reviewed by You. If your review is featured next week, we'll add 10,000 coins to your account. Don't forget to use your penguin name so we can add the coins! Looking forward to reading all your comments!

This week's question: What are you most looking forward to at the upcoming party (Star Wars Takeover). I admit, that's a hard question to answer! There are so many exciting things to look forward to at the upcoming party; I think Herbert's mascot appearance will be pretty rad! But this is about you, what are you looking forward to at the upcoming party? Comment and let me know!

I really liked Jujugins' answer: "My joke is a pet joke. i think it is quite funny. here it is.......how can dogs stop a video game? THEY PRESS THE PAWS BUTTON!"
Great joke! 10,000 coins to Jujugins!

This week's question:  what has been your all time favorite party so far? That's an extremely hard question for me (considering I joined Club Penguin in 2008). I'd have to pick the Music Jam. The Music Jam never gets old, and always gets better each year! But this is about you, what has been your all time favorite party so far? Comment and let me know - I want to see tons of answers!

Club Penguin Blog: Stormtroopers at Work - Drawing Droids

Polo Field has updated the Club Penguin Blog with a new post. This new post challenges you to write the best caption for a photo. The photo is of a Club Penguin artist, drawing the C-3PO costume while dressed as a storm trooper. Check out what Polo Field had to say:

Hello Penguins!

It's time for a little photo caption-writing fun!
Over the next few weeks, we'll post a Star Wars Takeover photo, then we want you to write the caption for it!
Here's an example to get you started..."When you can't find the Droids you're looking for... Draw them!"
Now it's your turn... what would you write as the caption for this photo?
Waddle On!
-Club Penguin Team

Hmm.. can you think of a great caption for that picture? You can see the C-3PO costume which we covered yesterday. The costume looks a lot like it did in the movies, and it's looking super cool. After watching the Game On commercial, I've become really excited for the Star Wars takeover. Similar to the Monsters University Takeover, there will be a mini-game, items to unlock everyday of the party, and much more. Uniquely, there will be a task to complete every week in order to unlock an item. I can't wait!

What do you think of Polo Field's post? What's the best caption for that photo? Leave us a comment to let us know what you're thinking.

New Slider Image + Club Penguin Blog: New iPad-Exclusive Star Wars Takeover Costume!

Club Penguin has just updated their website with two new things. These two new things are a new Club Penguin Blog post and a new Slider Image on Club Penguin's homepage. Since these two things are similar, we've decided to bundle them together in one post. First, Polo Field's post on the Club Penguin Blog. Check out what Polo Field had to say:

Hello Penguins!
Since we released the (amazingly epic) 3D cinematic trailer in celebration of the Star Wars™ Takeover, many of you have asked for sneak peeks! Here's one for you...
We're releasing a Boba Fett costume... exclusively on the My Penguin iPad app! Members with the app will be able to pick up the new costume with our next My Penguin app update. You'll definitely want this one!
There will be plenty of other amazing character costumes at the Takeover, too. Stay tuned for more info there!

Wow, that Boba Fett costume looks pretty cool. One thing however, the new My Penguin app update is already out! On the Club Penguin Homepage, you're able to browse through 4 images on the slider. The new image is about the Boba Fett costume on the My Penguin application. Club Penguin Blog: Reviewed by You: Jokes!

Polo Field has just published a new Reviewed by You on the Club Penguin Blog. The Reviewed by You is a post made by Polo Field every week, that features an answer from the previous week and asks you a new question. Last week Polo Field asked, "What are your favorite parts about the party so far? What's the scariest monster costume you can create?". Awesome16425's answer was featured on this week's Reviewed by You. Check out what Polo Field had to say:

I really liked Awesome16425's answer:  My favorite part of the party so far is how you could actually scare people with the event costumes. My best monster mash-up costume has the body of Space Squid, the head of Hardsrcabble, around its neck is Tusk's cloak, and it holds a shovel. I call him 'Squidolofulous'(Sk-wee-did-off-oh-lus). He digs up graves and scares the skeletons inside to practice his scaring skills.
That does sounds pretty scary! *Shivers*
As for this week, thinking back to the release of Puffle Digging...we want to hear your best puffle or pet joke!
We'll pick one comment to feature in next week's Reviewed by You. If your review is featured next week, we'll add 10,000 coins to your account. Don't forget to use your penguin name so we can add the coins! Looking forward to reading all your comments!
-Club Penguin Team

I think Awesome16425's answer was pretty awesome too! I like how he took costumes given away at all sorts of Club Penguin events to make the scariest costume possible. This week's Reviewed by You asks you to send in "your best puffle or pet joke!". If you think you have a great puffle or pet joke, send it in to Club Penguin. You could earn 10,000 coins for your penguin of choice!

Club Penguin University Theme Now on Soundcloud

Club Penguin has just uploaded their University Theme music to Soundcloud! Soundcloud is a website where Club Penguin puts most of their music for the public to listen to. The University Theme features many different instruments, including the electric guitar! Check out the song: I think the song is really awesome. If you're wondering, the Club Penguin University is a new room to be released on July 11. This room will be located at the Mine Shack when it gets redesigned. Polo Field was talking about this on the Club Penguin Blog and it's now a hot topic around the island. There is a variety of different opinions on the new room idea. Some penguins don't want to bid farewell to the Recycling Centre and Community Tree.

The song cover is a sneak peak image of the interior of the University. Check it out:

Club Penguin Monsters University: Scare Games Victory Party BUG

After some fierce scaring and hard work, Team OK has won the Scare Games. Team OK's yellow and green decorations are up at the Victory Party, along with the OK banners. The Club Penguin Blogger that represented Team OK was Polo Field. Check out the party:

Wait.. Where are the decorations? This is a bug. To fix this, play one round of the Scare Games, or refresh the page and log in to the same penguin again.

Ah- There we go! However, if you leave and come back again, the decorations will disappear. Congratulations Team OK, you have won by almost 2 million points.

By waddling over to the giant silver trophy near the bottom left, you can obtain the Scare Games Trophy. This trophy is for all players, even if you were on a different team. Click "Yes" on the pop-up screen if you would like to obtain the item. By going to the hand item section in your inventory, you should find the Scare Games Trophy. Sadly, no special abilities are enabled when you dance or wave with the item equipped.

Once again, congratulations Team OK! You did an awesome job.

What team did you compete for? Are you happy or sad that OK won? Leave us a comment to let us know your opinion on these questions.

Club Penguin Blog: Club Penguin University Coming Soon!

Polo Field has just revealed some exciting information on the Club Penguin Blog. As you may know, Polo Field has been talking briefly about the Mine Shack redesign and a school coming to the island. On the Club Penguin Blog, a sneak peak image has been published along with a release date. Check out Polo Field's post:

Hey Penguins,

Guess what? School is here to stay!

Sharpen your pencils! Pack up your books! Fold up those paper airplanes... Club Penguin's new university opens next week!

Waddle On!

-Club Penguin Team

Wow, I can't wait for the new school coming to Club Penguin. Everyone seems to love the University, so it would be a great idea to bring a school to the island. The Mine Shaft redesign looks similar to the old one though. One thing that has me intrigued is the pathway up the mountain. What could that be for? Maybe another new room, who knows? We will find out about it next week.

Club Penguin Youtube: Star Wars Takeover - Official Cinematic Trailer

Club Penguin has just uploaded their official Star Wars Takeover Cinematic Trailer. Polo Field was tweeting that this will be the most epic Club Penguin video ever, and he was right. Earlier in June, CP Guide predicted Herbert would be Darth Vader. The video has revealed that the rebels will face the stormtroopers, lead by the Darth Herbert to uncover secret plans and destory the Death Star. Check it out-

Isn't it super cool? The video even has the iconic Star Wars title screen, chapter screen, and beginning music. The scenes in the video are based entirely off of Star Wars Episode IV: A New Hope. In A New Hope, Princess Leia asks for help, and Luke Skywalker goes into the trench of the Death Star in attempt to destroy it. I really like the cinematic trailer, and am incredibly excited for the Star Wars Takeover, coming in July.

I'm really excited for the Star Wars Takeover, are you? Do you like Club Penguin's new video? Leave us a comment to let us know. May the force be with you.

Club Penguin Blog: Reviewed by You: Monster Costumes

Polo Field has just published the latest Reviewed by You. The Reviewed by You is a post that asks you a question, then showcases an answer from the week before the latest one. Last week's question was "Which personality from the Monsters University characters do you relate to and why?"Chingu123's response was featured in this week's Reviewed by You. Check it out-

Last week we asked, which personality from the Monsters University characters do you relate to and why?

I really liked Chingu123's answer: I just want to say that I loved the movie Monsters University, even better than Monsters Inc! I probably mostly relate to Mike Wazowski, "The Overachiever!" When I see a goal to set, I hurry after that goal, and even achieve more, like with stamps in Club Penguin! Thanks for the awesome party! Waddle on, Club Penguin, you're the real overachievers :).

Thanks for the compliment Chingu123. Glad you are enjoying the party!
For everyone else out there competing in the Scare Games. What are your favorite parts of the party so far? What's the scariest monster costume you can create?

I really like Chingu123's answer too. I can connect with his answer; if I have a goal I will strive to accomplish it. This week's question is: "What are your favorite parts of the party so far? What's the scariest monster costume you can create?". If you have a great response, share it with Club Penguin! You could earn 10,000 coins for your penguin.
