Club Penguin Blog: Earth Day Update

Hey penguins! I was looking through the Club Penguin Blog today and I saw that there was a new post involving Earth Day - that was about a month ago! Anyway, check out the new post-

Hey Penguins,

Remember a while ago, I asked what you thought the team should do in our community to celebrate Earth Day. Plant some trees? Clean up our local stream? Plant a garden for our local women's shelter?

So here's the update... we cleaned a stream!

 

It's awesome to see the difference you can make with a small group of people and a couple of hours... and the team had a blast!

Awesome! The Club Penguin Team got involved and helped our environment by cleaning up a dirty stream. You can change the world too! Club Penguin Flashback: Day 30

In our Club Penguin Flashback series, we flashback to a moment in Club Penguin's past. Today's flashback is the 2012 Earth Day Celebration.

The 2012 Earth Day Celebration was a short event that lasted from April 19 - 26, 2012, making it Club Penguin's 3rd Earth Day Party/Celebration. It took place in only one room: the Snow Forts. The 2012 Earth Day Celebration was held to honor Earth Day held every year on April 22nd. During the event, you could collect the Safari Helmet and Aunt Arctic's background (if you met her). All the other items were for members only. 

Fun Fact: This was predicted to be the last Earth Day Celebration on Club Penguin.

Club Penguin Blog: Acts of Kindness!

Hey everyone! Today, Ninja made a post to the official Club Penguin blog with some information regarding Earth Day. The team need your help! Let's see what Ninja said.

Yesterday we spotted Leafypingu rallying to make a difference in the Club Penguin community for Earth Day. It got the team thinking... What could we do to make a difference for Earth Day here at Club Penguin HQ?

That's where you come in! We'd love your help to decide where we should make a difference right here in our home town of Kelowna, Canada.

We have three ideas:

A) Plant some trees
B) Clean up our local stream
C) Plant a garden for our local women's shelter

Which do you think we should do?

Let us know where you think the Club Penguin Team should make a difference for Earth Day! We'll post an update here on the blog after we finish. 

Wow, I think Club Penguin should do all three! Every bit of making a change towards the environment matters. It's great to see that the team really cares about the environment, and wants us to get involved.
