Hey everyone! Some of you have known this for a little while, but some of you may not know this. Within the next few weeks, I will be leaving Club Penguin and blogging. It's something I've been preparing for throughout the last few months. Now is the right time for me to move forward.

I've been playing Club Penguin for exactly 5 years. I joined on August 7th, 2008. The last five years have held a lot of experiences. I started as the average young kid who dreamed of creating a successful Club Penguin blog. About four years later, I went towards what I visioned and did exactly that. In December of 2012, I opened CPGuide.net. With the help of staff members like Lucky6074 and Luke2345, who've been there from the beginning, and Ikk200 and Beta Nyan who came onboard most recently, here we are in August of 2013 with nearly a quarter million views! I honestly never thought CPGuide would be this successful and grow so quickly. And it's only been 8 months, the journey of this blog is not done. Lucky6074 & Luke2345 is going to lead this blog in the right direction. Believe me, although I'll be gone from here, things won't change. If anything, things will get better. I'm thankful for such awesome viewers who keep this blog alive. If it wasn't for you, I wouldn't be able to say mission accomplished.

Why am I leaving, you ask? There's a few reasons! First of all, over the last few months, I've lost interest in Club Penguin. Really. It does get boring. After 5 years of it, I'm ready to change it up a bit. The only reason I've been logging in is to get the items and pins, or visit a friend's party. The next reason I'm leaving Club Penguin and blogging, which is probably the most important, is that time has been an issue throughout the last few months. I have a social life outside of Club Penguin, and I'm starting high school later this month. With high school comes more schoolwork to get done, and I am of course going to be doing sports and other great things. To wrap it all up, I have bigger, better priorities to focus on.

When exactly am I leaving, you may ask? I don't have an exact, set date. However, I can say it will be before the month ends. I have some things to get done before I take off, such as helping finish our updated theme. Before I depart, I am inviting you to a farewell party on August 15th. Information is below, I hope to see you there! Thanks Ikk200 for the awesome invitation!

This is my final post on this blog, so I wrap it up saying thank you. The last 1,826 days have taught me a lot. I will take some of these learnings and use them for years to come. Before you guys ask, I'll answer two questions I know I'll get a lot. I won't quit Twitter, but I will not be tweeting nearly as much. It'll pretty much be a "hey, it's been a few weeks, I'll check out how the Club Penguin universe is doing." Next, I will on occasion still login to Club Penguin. I will do that to be sure my account doesn't get deleted for inactivity, because that does happen. Three parties I will make an effort to login to are the anniversaries, Halloween, and Holiday parties. Check my Twitter account, @Samidog6 during those times, and I might tweet out where and when I'll login.

That's about it, guys! Have fun. I'd assume most of you are in your young childhood years. If so, enjoy them. Keep waddling. These are your prime years. Ignore the drama, ignore the haters, just have fun.
