Club Penguin's My Penguin App is out!

Today, Club Penguin released their new iPad app on the App Store for free! I really like the app, it's well built. Let's take a look!
Once you launch the app and login, this is what the main screen will look like.

There are multiple features in this app. Let's start with the 'Me' button. This is pretty easy to explain, you can change your outfit and buy new clothes.

You can also click the catalog below your penguin to purchase items from a special catalog. This is not the same Penguin Style that's on the web version of Club Penguin, it's unique to My Penguin.

Most of the items have been seen before, but there are a few pages with exclusive items to My Penguin, such as this one here. This page is for members only.

And this one is for every player.

Next, let's look at the 'Friends' section. You can view all of your buddies here, and accept friend requests.

When you click on a buddy, you have the option to throw a snowball to someone. Here is me throwing a snowball at my friend Fro Bro98.

 When you get hit by a snowball, you can throw one back. This is what your penguin will look like when you get hit.

You can throw one back by clicking on your snow covered penguin. I sense a snowball war, Polo Field!

If you are on the web version of Club Penguin, and someone hits you with a snowball from the app, you will get a message there, too.

The next button is to view the Blog, simple enough to explain.

The next button is to view videos made by Club Penguin, which is taken directly from Club Penguin's YouTube account.

Next, there are four buttons you can click to play classic Club Penguin games. They are Ice Fishing, Puffle Roundup, Puffle Rescue, and Pufflescape. They are exactly the same as they are on the web version, except you are using touch controls instead. I won't spend too much time on these, as you already know how to play. Here is Ice Fishing.

We're almost finished! The last thing I'd like to talk about is Sushi Drop - a fun game exclusive to this mobile app. You can only play when you have at least one sushi to play the game with. Sushi is earned by logging into the app, watching a video, viewing the blog, etc. The object of the game is to drop the sushi and have it land in a clam. You'll get coins if it lands in a clam. 

You also can get some rare items every so often when you play the game, such as the red and black sailor's shirt and the yellow scuba mask.

I really think Club Penguin did an amazing job with this app! It's beyond what I expected - it isn't boring at all. It is worth noting you can receive coins by playing these games. If you have an iPad - get this app. It's worth the free charge. What do you think of My Penguin? Comment and tell us!
