In our Club Penguin Flashback series, we flashback to a moment in Club Penguin's past. Today's flashback is the 3rd Anniversary Party.
The 3rd year anniversary party was a special party that occured from October 24 to October 26 in 2008. The purpose was to celebrate Club Penguin's third birthday. Anniversary parties occur every year, and a special, rare party hat is released each year. The party hat released at this party has the colors of yellow, blue, and orange. This anniversary party was a very unique one, as it was the first party to be decorated beyond the Coffee Shop. It also had the first party hat to have more than two colors. The third anniversary also marked the release of the very first Club Penguin toys, and released the Treasure Book and unlocking system. Finally, there was a huge celebration in Times Square, New York. Rockhopper also visited Club Penguin during the party. Click the photos below to enlarge.
